After taking a moment to get his thoughts and emotions in check, Remington walked back inside the dining room, just passing through, heading for the door.

“Yo, Rem…where you going, man?” Giovanni asked.

Remington continued on as if he didn’t hear Giovanni’s question. He heard him, but he only had one thing on his mind and that was getting to Emory.

When the door slammed behind him, Kenton said, “You know where he’s going. He’s going to get his girl.”

Shocked, Davina asked, “His girl? When did this happen?”

“I don’t know,” Jessalyn said, “But I’ve never seen Remy like this.”

“Me either,” Kenton said.

Giovanni kept his mouth sealed tight.
